remembrance

Thankful for unconditional love during remembrance period

In the month of November, we remember the end of Second world war. The world remembers the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Laying down their life for us to have a better future.

The word of God is a place of comfort for many. Walk in love as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us, offering sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. Being born again not of a corruptible being but incorruptible by the word God which lives and abides forever. Sanctify them through thy truth. Thy word is truth. Except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his mercy he saved us. By the washing, regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit thy word has quickened me. The law of the Lord is perfect converting us all. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of the Lord is pure enlightening the eyes.

Walking in Love

John 15 verses 9-12

“As the father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you , that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment , that you love one another as I have loved you.”

Thankful prayer

We thank you Lord Jesus because you loved the church and gave yourself for it. We ask for your grace to follow you and walk in love as you encouraged us to do in your word. We thank you Lord for your mercy and many mercies which are great. We pray for grace to be able to say in our lives your will be done. You choose the way and you lead us. Thank you Lord that you have helped us up to this moment in time and that we experience your hep and your enabling. We are not strong enough in among ourselves to be able to continue to follow you. We need your help, your enabling spirit to help us do the things we would not choose but which may be your will. We desire to be able to pray from the heart. Thank you that we come to you in all our need and imperfections for your help and your enabling to do the things we can’t do ourselves. We commit to you the future where it seems uncertain and unknown humanly speaking, remembering that you know the end from the beginning.

We thank you for your day today. We pray that as many people remember, they remember your help in the past and also remember the difficult times when you helped us. Help us Lord to remember with gratitude and thankfulness. We pray that you bless your word as it is preached up and down the nations. Draw people to yourself through your word and truth. Thank you for revealing yourself to us in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are thankful for the revelation that Jesus made. Help us to realize that you are working your purposes despite the upsets, traumas and all the problems that there are in our world at the moment . Please grant that peace may be extended to Ukraine.. We thank you for the measure of deliverance that you have given to the people of Ukraine. We pray that you will open up the way for freedom for that country and other war torn countries. We thank you for our friends and pray for them in their need, loses and crises. We pray for good health.

Thank you for the help we are able to give to loved ones. Thank you . We pray for friends, birthdays, and those travelling.

We pray for ministers that are preaching the word.

Help us to walk in love. Help us remember to love and walk the talk. Help us to keep looking to you for the help we need from you day by day. We pray that you continue to bring healing to us. We fail to ask a lot of things and we fail to give you enough thanks; where we fail please make up in giving as we come only in the merit of Jesus Christ.
