This week we are discussing working together to bring positive change. We need to flow together in the same direction to make things work.
Before leaving everything behind and starting again elsewhere let us be careful that we are not giving up on a good thing, giving up the best of us and seeking an unknown reality.
We see a lot of good around us and bad stuff also. We have seen wars and conflict around the world. Some have lived during colonization and apartheid era.
You or somebody we know may be passing through a challenge, job loss, money worries, bereavement and so on.
This week we explore ‘loving yourself’. We have seen a lot of hate in the wake of racial injustice, wars and conflict around the world but also a display of love and mending of bridges.
When we challenge bad things that happen in our communities like oppression, racism, hatred, antisemitism and other isms we are promoting positive change of trying to make the world a better place.
We should not be quick to judge when we see people who may behave in a certain way from what is expected, or have different views, it may be because of some underlying issues.
There is a lot of stuff that sometimes makes us lose all hope and focus. As anxiety kicks in, which happens quiet often, we can still adjust and evaluate where we are.
This week we are looking at the subject of bullying and how to move forward from a bad experience.
